Public roadmap overview

Show customers what you are building with a read-only public roadmap board.

The roadmap module lets you publish a board that shows what you are working on and what is planned. You edit it in the admin app, and visitors read it on a public page or embedded in your own site.

Read-only: no voting

The Hubbo roadmap is a public board. Visitors can read it, but there is no voting on roadmap items. Collect ideas separately, for example with a survey.

What a roadmap contains

  • Columns: the lanes of the board. The default set is Now, Next and Later.
  • Items: cards inside columns with a title, description, tags, status, priority, owner, due date and link.
  • Tags: colored labels to group items by theme.
  • Appearance: inherits Road Map → Appearance defaults, or a custom look (colors, height, radius, visible details).
  • Translations: AI Translation fills board title, columns, tags and item text so the public page matches the visitor’s language.

States

StateMeaning
DraftWork in progress, not available publicly.
PublishedAvailable on its public URL and for embedding.
ArchivedKept for your records.

You can have more than one roadmap, for example one per product.

AI Translation

Add a locale and click Generate Translation — Hubbo fills the board from your main language. Applies on the public page and embed. See Translations and languages.

Workflow

  1. Create a roadmap and set columns. See Columns and items.
  2. Style it and choose what to show.
  3. Add locales and run AI Translation for visitor-facing copy.
  4. Publish and share it. See Publish, share and embed.

Page views

When a visitor opens a published roadmap, the session can count as a page view for your account (once per browser session). If your allowance is used up, the public roadmap is not served.
