Create an account, install the embed snippet and publish your first notification.
In Hubbo a project is an account: it has a name, a URL, an embed key and its own content. Follow this checklist to go from nothing to a visible widget.
When you first sign in you are asked to create an account. Enter a project name and the URL of your website. The URL field takes the host (including subdomain) such as example.com and only https:// addresses are allowed. Hubbo uses this URL as your site’s origin: it controls which website is allowed to talk to Hubbo from the browser.
<head> or inside <body>.Frameworks have their own guides: Next.js, React, Vue, Nuxt, Svelte, Angular.
Open your website in a normal browser window. You should see your notification. If you do not, follow the troubleshooting checklist.
Open Notifications → Appearance to set Widget & Page, bell and category colors for the account. You can also override look per notification in its Appearance tab. See Appearance and branding.
Testing consumes page views
Each new browser session on your real website counts as a page view. Use the signed-in previews inside the admin editor for visual checks — those do not count. Public pages on app.hubbo.io still can.
