Resources / Help / Notifications
Publication and expiration dates, and what draft, published, expired and archived mean.
Every notification has a state and an optional schedule. Together they decide whether visitors can see it.
| State | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Saved but not visible to visitors. Use it while you write. |
| Published | Live. Visible between the publication date and the expiration date. |
| Expired | Its end date has passed. It is no longer shown in the widget. |
| Archived | Kept for your records and not shown to visitors. |
/page (and the bell list) can still show the post. You can schedule a notification ahead of time: publish it now with a future publication date and it will appear when that moment arrives.
Live updates
When you publish, change or delete a notification — or update project appearance (for example NPS position) — open widgets on customer sites receive the change automatically. No deploy or reload of your site is needed.
Visitors only get a notification if your account is still within its page-view allowance.
